How could we not fall head over heels for Dana?  She's an SVA sophomore with the exact Jeffrey Campbell clogs that we've waited to get our paws on for months now!  She paired the bad boys with knee-length black socks for a Downtown stroll, and kept her legs looking long and sleek in some high-cut denim shorts.  Her flowing top reminds us of Liz's (swoooon), but the heart-shaped glasses (a St. Mark's buy) are all her own...and, well, they're soon to be ours as well!  Gosh, we heart every piece of this chick.

Thank you Gaga for making lipstick a woman's latest must-have accessory.  We've been seeing girls all over the City popping out in pink - from bubble gum to blush rose -and the added color really does add a little spice!  We caught up with Adriana at the Brooklyn Flea Market in a flowing Grecian green gown with a matching bowler hat, but it was the metallic pink lip-smackers that really threw us over the edge.  Time to pull out the pink!

When Kristen Dudek walks into a party, mouths drop and heads turn. At least that's what happened last weekend. In a shockingly bright H&M blazer (with embroidered poodles), Kristen was the life of a Wall St. soiree that brought kids from the City's top art schools together for drinks (and, well, style-offs). A junior at FIT, this chick sure knows how to put together a look - simplifying the rest of her outfit to solid black leggings and a tank...with a little aqua arm candy for show. No wonder this is the girl everyone's talking about...

A pin-up girl living in Brooklyn with Erykah Badu style?  Finally, our dreams are coming true!  Yoshi's a West Coast style-maven who's made her home on the East Coast, blogging about all things sexy and fun at Adventures of Yoshi. We caught up with her at The Whitney Museum a couple months back and had to lock her down for a 3 shoot STAT. The streets of NYC move quickly. Come unprepared, and you'll be left behind.  Here are mobile uploads of trendsetters + their must-have accessories that we shot on-the-go (because believe it or not, it's not always cool to have a REAL camera dangling from our necks).  Take out your smartphones because we want to see your on-the-go style uploads, add them to our Facebook page!

Believe it or not, it's time to pull out the sweaters.  Preferably, the red ones.  This Fall, take note from Keefer who stood out in Chelsea by adding a bright Mario cardigan to stay warm in the breeze.  We hear indigos and purples will be worn by the fashion elite in the coming months, but why not make more of a statement with something a little brighter?!  We're digging the rolled khaki shorts, the pin (by Assman), and all that extra red. Hey, just because the sun's gone, that doesn't mean you can't stay bright.

It's ok to like our style both spicy AND sweet, right?  Because unlike Wildcat's wild look (which we dig), Claudia's flowing Summer dress with lace embroidery screams vintage sugar (mmm!).  It's a French Connection buy that could certainly translate into an early-Fall dress as well, especially with a smart cardigan (as shown). But it's the vintage leather bag - snatched up in San Diego - that really turned our heads on Houston.  The embroidery complements her dress and the turquoise buckle's a match for her gorgeous jewelry.  Geez, this Columbia grad's sugary sweet and still hot!

Beads, beads, good for your heart, the more you eat, the more you… huh?

I’ve gone crazy for beads (if I wasn’t already crazy for them). I recently took a trip down to a coastal city called Durban which is in a province called Kwa-Zulu Natal, which basically means Zulu Kingdom, i.e. where my tribe (the Zulus) reign from.

Women make a living off of creating gorgeous beaded pieces which includes jewelry, crafts and other cool things. I found my heaven! I bought beaded sandals, bracelets and even a beaded spectacles holder (is that what it’s called?).

I thought I was good at making beaded art and such…Not after I saw the work that these women do. Every single bead is put on one by one, by hand, by candle light!

Is it too late to call 'Fu%& You' the song of the Summer?  Cee-Lo (of Gnarls Barkley fame) only released the single a couple weeks back and it's already become an Internet phenomenon.  But all that sharing makes sense, who doesn't want to say 'Fu%* You' every once in a while?! An unofficial video for the single was released across Youtube, but we held off to bring you the official (and officially awesome) version featuring Cee-Lo himself. So after taking a couple of classes with my friends at the University of Pretoria, we decided to go to a bar called Aandlkaas. It’s an Afrikaans word…not really sure what it means.

Oh wait–it means “evening class”. LOL how ironic.

Aside from the drinks special (which lets you have any drink you want for R10 which comes to about $1.75 or something), the bathrooms were also a cool sight. Like the losers that my friends and I can be, we initiated a mini photo shoot. The walls were covered in graffiti—well, mostly people just declaring their unconditional love to untold crushes. Reminiscent of Brooklyn, I reckon.

So here I am posing. Inside a bathroom stall. All that’s left to wonder is who took the picture. Lol.
I guess young people are the same everywhere. And artistic flair seems to creep into every aspect of life. Even the place where excretory activities are meant to take place.
